Is It Okay To Overcharge Your iPhone?

There is only one thing that an iPhone’s user need to be aware of, ‘The Battery’. This is because iPhone’s battery is not replaceable or at least not-easily replaceble. iPhone was designed in such a way that it can not be dissamble by its user.

This is not something that should keep you away from buying an iPhone. iPhone’s battery lifespan is much better than any of its competitors out there. Overcharging an iPhone is not-possible or in another words ‘your iPhone will not be broken because of overcharging’.

However, to maintain iPhone’s battery lifespan you should drain the battery empty at least once a month.

Lithium-ion batteries should be used for highest performance. If you don’t use your iPhone regularly, you need to be be sure to complete a charge cycle at least once a month. For example when charging a NiMH battery when it gets full there’s a drop in the amount of voltage it uses and this is the method of how battery chargers know when to stop charging. After an iPhone is fully charged once you take the charging cable off, its not recommended to charge it again immediately since this may results the battery being overcharged.
