If you were hoping to get the WIFI version of the iPad and tether it to the iPhone; you can kiss your plan goodbye. You can't tether an iPad to the iPhone according to a message sent by Steve Jobs

The Apple Latest creation: iPad is coming this April 3rd according to their latest ad as seen at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards. The ad is all over YouTube now; Steve Jobs himself was there at the Academy Awards.

Of course it wouldn’t be fair to rate the device now; we wouldn’t know it until we get our hands on it. I have no plan to get one, but we’ll see about that… Maybe I’d better off with the 3G version; which worth mentioning the WIFI version of the iPad will be released first before the 3G version. Why? I have no idea…

Anyway, if you were hoping to get the WIFI version of the iPad and tether it to the iPhone; you can kiss your plan goodbye.

An Apple fan from Sweden sent an email to Apple about iPhone – iPad internet tethering.

This is the message that was sent:

I’ll keep it short.

I’m Jezper from Sweden, a long time Apple fan, currently about to replace the very last computer at home with a brand spanking new iMac i7. I’m also awaiting the release of the iPad. However, I have one question:

Will the wifi-only version somehow support tethering thru my iPhone?

Two devices, based on the same OS, with already built-in technology to share one data plan suggests a secondary contract could possibly be redundant.

From the look of your keynote, where the iPad sits well between my MacBook Pro and my iPhone, I was hoping the three of them could interact as seamless as possible.

All the best,
Jezper Söderlund[a famous DJ in his own right]

The email was replied by no other than Steve Jobs himself. Mr. Jobs managed to keep it simple; he got an even shorter reply from Steve Jobs:

No.

Well, this is another disappointing fact about the upcoming iPad indeed. It looks like you won’t be able to use iPhone’s 3G network on your iPad via Tethering. It works on netbooks, laptops and all other Microsoft junks but not the glorious iPad.

I have been familiar with Alienware Computing System but I've never actually owned one because of the price. It is probably the best and coolest PC brand in the world. Technically if you hate Apple Macs, you have the reason to love Alienware.

Dell has released the latest Alienware Notebook or the first Netbook in the Alienware Family. It is acceptably small, thin and for that matter doesn’t have a built in DVD-Rom. It is funny how these laptop companies thought that Macbook Air was a bad idea, and guess what – now everybody is making Macbook Air.

I have been familiar with Alienware Computing System but I’ve never actually owned one because of the price. It is probably the best and coolest PC brand in the world. Technically if you hate Apple Macs, you have the reason to love Alienware. All Alienware branded PCs come with high-end computer hardwares which what makes it a powerful gaming system or a great companion for your 3D graphics works. You can check out all of their cool computing devices at their official website Alienware.com

What I’d really like to talk about today is this latest netbook called “Alienware M11x”. It is cheaper comparing to all the previous Alienwares; which gives me a reason to get one. The netbook comes with HD 720p display; it is lower end of High Definition display but certainly not bad for a netbook. I’ve been told that the gaming experience is tremendous! (well it is Alienware – gaming computer)

Another feature that makes me really wants to get one would be the sim card slot. It has this sim card slot that allows you to put simcard in it! (..obviously) Basically you would take out the sim card from your Apple iPhone and place it in your Alienware system. This allows you to use the network from your iPhone, and access 3G internet connection.

Personalization is another cool thing about Alienware. You can customize your Alienware’s Avatar, the back cover, software and more when purchasing the netbook online which is exactly what I’m going to do. Pretty much I don’t really have a choice since there are no offline retailers here in where-I-live.

What do you people think; should I get this Alienware or wait for the over-rated iPad?

Doctor’s offices, real estate businesses and even the production companies have come to use the idea of the paperless office all to their advantage.

The paperless office title works interchangeably with the phrase document imaging system. Although since the popularity of computers, the all elusive paperless office does not exist. There are many components to the paperless office system that have come into use.

Doctor’s offices, real estate businesses and even the production companies have come to use the idea of the paperless office all to their advantage. Document storage is one of the parts of the paperless office that has created quite a buzz.

No longer are there reasons to run to the file cabinets and rifle through tons and tons of documents, now you can easily fire up the computer and find exactly what you’re looking for by jus the touch of the mouse or a few key words or phrases.

Document storage is easy, fast and affordable, saving time and money as your office becomes more and more efficient with its use. The use of paperless office systems or document imaging systems will allow you to free up that extra storage space into more production related space for you. You can hire more workers, create more space and get rid of the useless hours paid to employees whose main focus was at one time just retaining and maintain your records.

You can take all of your records, have them scanned and easily stored. This will save time and expense on storage costs and transfer costs when you have to find a file that is already gone to your storage company.

What happens if there is a fire? What happens if there is a natural calamity that can not be avoided? These problems can all be averted by the simple use of document storage that is done electronically.

Think of all of the loss of time, assets, charts, files and information that was lost during hurricane Katrina, there were businesses large and small that were effected beyond repair and much of this could have been prevented with the simple use of an electronic filing system.

The physical loss can be devastating, but losing that personal database that was stored on the shelf could literally have a business struggling after just a short time. Client files, contacts and personal information can all be lost with just a simple fire and that is a reason to look into what a paperless office can do for you. Although there may never be such a thing as paperless offices, there sure are many programs and services out there that will allow you to become as paperless as possible.

The next time you have a meeting, think of all the wasted employee hours spent there, the simple use of a paperless office can have employees reading, viewing or taking a test in their down time with signature recognition so you know their jobs are being done well. There is no more need to close the office for a meeting, get the documents up in your system and let their down time turn into productivity time that is better for you and your company.

Basically iTunes lyrics plugins or addons are some sort of additional tools that can be helpful for those who wanted to add ‘lyrics’ to their songs collection on iTunes. Instead of searching every lyric to every song; there are plugins that can help you to do that easily.

After searching gazillion times for “iTunes Lyrics Plugins” none of the links actually were very helpful and so once again because of the ‘terrible search listing’ I decided to write a post that actually helps people. Hopefully this post will make it to the top 10 listing on Google.

Basically iTunes lyrics plugins or addons are some sort of additional tools that can be helpful for those who wanted to add ‘lyrics’ to their songs collection on iTunes. This can be very time consuming and frustrating. Instead of googling every lyric to every song; there are plugins that can help you to do that easily.

Is there any helpful iTunes lyrics plugin that actually works?

The answer is ‘yes’. Thanks to me, I never really get bored of googling for stuff; I keep googling until I find the answer to my problem. I tried a lot of plugins for iTunes lyrics and you should be surprised that out of all the plugins I’ve tried; only two of them actually worked.

…there are two ways and two plugins

If you care about the quality of the lyrics and you want to keep your iTunes library ‘clean’. The best solution for adding lyrics easily to your songs is by using a plugin called ‘soundcrank’

Soundcrank (take a peek at my iTunes Library) and yes I like Ke$ha

It is very easy, once you’ve downloaded soundcrank (get the latest version here) you can start running it without rebooting your PC. Just double click on the soundcrank icon and iTunes will magically appear next to it. If you are using windows make sure you minimize the iTunes window so you can see the soundcrank window (it works as if the soundcrank window is an additional sidebar to iTunes; you can find it on the right side next to iTunes)

Soundcrank application will prompt you for login id and password. Just register the application – you don’t have to pay anything and it takes only couple of seconds. The registration form will only ask for name, email and country. No email confirmation is required.

Every time you play a song the soundcrank will display the album artwork and lyrics to the song and it will add both album artwork and lyrics automatically by default. If you don’t want to mess with album artwork (edit the settings by clicking on ‘options’ – change the settings so it doesn’t fetch album artworks)

The downside of this is you have to play every song on your iTunes for at least 10-15 seconds (depending on your internet connection speed) in order for soundcrank to fetch and add lyrics to the song.

The trick to do this on autopilot is by using an auto-clicker software. (Set the autoclicker software to click on ‘itunes next song’ button for every 10 seconds)

That is basically the way how soundcrank can be helpful for adding lyrics to your songs on iTunes.

Now there is another plugin called lyrics fetcher. You can use this if you don’t care about the quality of the lyrics in another words this is the fastest way one can fetch lyrics to his or her songs on iTunes.

The tool works smoking fast, you can just download it, hit it up and let it find lyrics to the entire songs on your iTunes Library. It is capable in fetching hundreds of songs in a matter of seconds.

Amazingly Fast Way of Fetching Lyrics

However as I said the downside is ‘THE QUALITY of THE LYRICS’ and as a matter of fact the way the plugin works is simply pathetic.

If the plugin succesfully fetched lyric to a song, at the very bottom of every fetched-lyric you will find ‘the credits’ part. Sure enough we need to thank ‘lyrics fetcher plugin’ because of its amazingly fast way of fetching lyrics but seriously… NOT IN EVERY LYRIC!?

If credits doesn’t bother you wait till you see what happens when the plugin couldn’t find the lyric to a song. It will say ‘no lyrics found in the database’ and it actually stored this message in every song which the plugin couldn’t find lyrics to.

The Internet’s Giant Company, Google, has been unhappy with the broadband connection in United States where speed lag is far behind those other developed countries. They would offer ultrahigh-speed Internet access in several communities to test the kind of things that would be possible if the United States had faster broadband network. This is a plan for a Google’s Experiment. The Live streaming of 3D medical images from countryside health clinic or being able to download full-length movie in a matter of seconds; in Google’s Vision; would be possible.

Google is generally telling the government that ‘we have better internet connection’ said Ben Scott (policy director for Free Press).

Who else is unhappy with the broadband connection? I know Streamyx in Malaysia has been ripping people off. I’m currently using P1 at home; it is doing fine at the moment. The connection speed is ‘not that fast’ but acceptably good.

AT&T, Telcos? Anyone? Leave some feedbacks…

There is actually a reason why we, bloggers, hate the iPad. It was because we were told ‘differently’. Personally, I think iPad could have been a better product if it didn’t have Special Event or in another words it was released quietly.

First of all it didn’t possess the feature the bloggers were dying to see. We were told that the iPad has some sort of Air Touch / Smart recognition feature instead of Multi-touch. With this technology you would be able to control the iPad without touching it; the concept is pretty much similar to Microsoft’s Project Natal. The iPad is nowhere close to being ‘revolutionary’ it is the kind of product that possesses the same technology Apple had for years.

It is disappointing that we did not see anything new; there were no new feature being introduced by Apple. Sure a bigger screen iPhone is somewhat cool and probably very convenient when it comes to writing email and browsing the web. However it is not necessarily by any means ‘a device that will be replacing netbooks’ as claimed by Apple.

Technically it is a bigger iPhone that can’t call; forget about all those redesigned applications (iPad is nothing more than ‘a bigger iPhone that can’t make or receive calls’)

Some people are okay with it; tweeple (twitter people) are still tweeting about the iPad and it is still a trending topic and it gives some sense why I needed to make another iPad post. I promise this will be the last iPad post at least for the month.

Brandon Watson (he’s not in the photo, I just had to put Ballmer there since he is funnier) the director of product management in Microsoft’s Developer Platform said that “It is a humorous world in how Microsoft is much more open than Apple. With Microsoft’s platforms, developers can build whatever they want, and target a broad array of devices using the same skill set”

Many developers of iPhone apps which the iPad uses are not earning money, developing applications for Apple’s devices is costly as the iPhone Operating System uses Objective C language rather than Microsoft’s .NET platform. (I beg to differ with this iPhone App Development e Book) Apple in addition has alienated some developers that make software for its product by controlling the App Store. Last year in 2009, Apple did not approve Google’s Voice App for no reason at all.

Microsoft wasn’t the only company who criticized iPad, Nokia and Nintendo took the shots as well. Nokia was furious when Steve Jobs claimed that Apple was the the largest Mobile Company (“this was a false statement” claimed Mark Squires Head of Social Media at Nokia) Nintendo President, Satoru Iwata, said he feels the iPad is just an oversized iPod Touch and he wasn’t impressed.

“Come and See our Latest Creation” – Apple (January 27th)

It is finally unveiled, and the name is not Apple Tablet nor iSlate as Steve Jobs officially unveiled Apple’s Latest Creation the “iPad”. I’ve just watched the Apple Media Event live via ustream, and I have to say I’m a little disappointed about it.

Don’t get me wrong, I think Apple iPad is a great good product; but probably because all of the hypes that have been going on for at least couple of months; this kind of ruin the iPad.

It is merely a giant version of iPod Touch. There is nothing really new here; it is a bigger iPod touch with few additional software. No multi-tasking (probably they’re working on that), No front or even back-camera.

Videos and Games look fantastic on the iPad because of the bigger screen.

No iPhone 4.0 updates were announced…

Sounds too good to be true? Joel Comm, a well-known webmaster, made over $27,000 with his lousy app called “iFart”. Have you ever heard of the infamous “iMirror”? The company which developed the app made over $2000 daily with iMirror. The app doesn’t even do anything. It doesn’t turn the iPhone into a virtual mirror or anything like that; to quote it “plain stupid” So how exactly do you make money with iPhone Apps?

iPhone Apps Sales are Booming!

Monetizing iPhone Application is actually quite simple; it has the same principal of online money making. Those free apps you’ve installed on your iPhone are in fact “free” but what the developers never tell you is the secret behind the price tag. Most “free” application comes with pay-per-click / pay-per-impression advertising system. You can learn about those advertising system in another forums or blogs; right now lets get to the point of creating iPhone application.

You need to learn a few required languages to develop iPhone Application (or check out iPhone Application & Monetize Kit right here! )

Some of the required languages are:

Basic HTML

CSS

Javascript

C++

There are actually two versions of iPhone App you can develop, and these are web-based and stand-alone. Web based iPhone application is easier to develop since it doesn’t require approval from Apple Store, as for the stand-alone’ in order to include your application into the Apple App Store, your developed application must be reviewed by Apple first. This topic is being covered in this e Book.

Stand-Alone Apps have more opportunities when it comes to revenue. iPhone Application sales are booming and if you have developed a cool app and sell it for even as low as $0.99 you can still make a fortune.

Apple Inc. will blow your mind this January 27th as they will reveal their latest-creation. They successfully delivered iPhone in 2007, and this year, Apple promised another innovation. It is official that this latest creation is said to be unveiled at the Yerba Buena Center for Arts approximately 10 AM on January 27 (one week from now). The launch of the rumored Apple Tablet looks certain, however it is still not clear whether they will unveil other things as well.

We can also expect a demo of the latest iPhone firmware; ‘iPhone OS 4.0’ and the new version of iLife 2010.

There has been some rumors about the partnerships of Apple and Wall Street Journals; along with few other eBook publishers. They might going to bring e-books into the Apple Tablet. It is also reported that ‘The New York Times’ will be announcing a partnership with Apple to provide newspaper content on the Tablet.

Apple Tablet is expected to be a multi purpose device. Think of it as an iPhone with big screen, is this going to be the next big thing?
